Fastback Rear Seat Area Seam Molding Question
« on: January 16, 2023, 08:36:06 PM »
I am aware that on a early 65 fastback the 2 forward (long) 1" wide seam moldings that turn the corner from the back seat area into the door jamb area have a square end without hole and there is a small finish end piece with a hole that is used.
I am also aware that in late 65 or 66? they did away of that small end finish piece with the hole made re made those long seem moldings 1' longer and have a hole.

But my question is:
Are those late 65/66 front (long) seam moldings with the hole at the end the same as 67-68 FB ??

Reason I ask, I just picked up a full set from a 66 fastback and when I got back home compared the 2 front long pieces to my 67-68 FB front long pieces  they are 100% identical in length and shape and hole location.
I currently have about 5 or 6 sets of the 67-68 FB and they all matched the 66
