I was wondering how do I should call my car..? Just to be clear with the right term.!
My car has some NOS parts in it, some repros and, mostly original. I try to keep it like new factory condition as far as I can, (but some missing/difficult items to find.!) so, if I need to replace wrong parts, I buy repros if I can't find the NOS part, or if it's too expensive for me. Definitely no new Hi-TEC parts to be added like improved carbs, dual exhaust, wheels/tyres, P/S and the lot.! So, what would you say I have to call it..? Appreciate your help.!

The term "restored" is a very generic term in the classic car hobby.  Some would argue that if a car is not put back like it originally came (concours), then it's not really "restored", in the true definition of the word.  If you add a Holley carb, headers, aftermarket wheels, it really becomes a "modified" car.

Personally, I don't get too hung up about it because there's no way that everyone is going to think or say the same thing.

No, definitely no Holleys, headers and that sort of stuff.! Just keeping, as much as possible, the originality of the car, with new repro parts, sometimes NOS, and the originals that it still has.

You might do yourself and any would-be future owner of your 66 a HUGE favor... (if you didn't already know this).

Try and retain anything, if possible EVERYTHING you replace (instead of restoring, regardless what you think is worthless).
It's truly only "original" once...it is also very easy to discard something that looks to have very little or no value today to find out next year, next decade...some time down the road, that the best option was to repair or restore what you already threw out many, many years ago (or yesterday's trash)...Ask me how I know this ;)
