'67 AC/Tilt vacuum canister
« on: April 17, 2016, 01:54:32 AM »
Believe the 67s used a kinda "bread loaf" shaped canister, as opposed to the later "coffee can" style.  I have one of the "bread loaf" shape and it has two 90 degree fittings, one about 3/16" diameter and one about 1/16" diameter. Neither has a check valve, as on my later "coffee can" ones.

Unsure if it should have a check valve on one connection, or if this style can was just an open path.   ???

67 has an external check valve mounted in line on the vacuum line.  As far as the can goes I suggest that you do some searching.  This has been a very hot topic more than once.   If I wasn't working from my phone I would add links to those posts for you.

Yes you have some reading to do. Enjoy - but like most things 67 - lots of running changes and details.  Not an easy year to deal with

Thanks, but just confirming the part on the shelf's application so I can advertise it correctly.  Spare sale part, not installing as I have 68s.
