69 Seat Track Disassembly
« on: February 17, 2016, 10:28:51 PM »
After reading an on-line article about restoriing the seat track, I am having trouble seperating the two interlocking pieces. Acccording to the article I need to bend the end tabs and the track should slide out. I have done that but it appears there are studs near the end of each side thst prevents it from sliding out. What step am I missing?

Sorry - haven't been able to separate them the couple of times I looked at the idea. Well really I could - just would not be usable after

I guess I will clean and lube the best I can. The article was really mis-leading as it is supposed to be easy. Thanks for the feedback.
