A few more update pictures. Something I learned is the pull handle on the 64.5 light switch is shorter than a 65/66. Going to strart on the headliner next. Never done before so this could be ugly.

On the headliner, be sure to get the rear bow hooks in, then pull forward and stick the front, starting with the middle and working out to the sides.  Then stick the rear also starting in the middle and working down.  Remember that the source of a wrinkle is always perpendicular.

Two ideas that have been discussed for clamping the headliner vinyl into place:

1) Windlace sections
2) Large Binder Metal Clips (have a tighter "bite" than the windlace sections)

Both have been known to help work out the wrinkles BEFORE going to "glue"

But consider that your saving the cost of having it installed. You could go through a number of headliners and still come out ahead cost wise.

And your learning a skill that you can apply again at a later date, apply to other owners cars, work out a trade for something you need done or a little pocket change to buy something you need for your project.

Acquire skills and information anywhere you can you never know how handy it will become in the years to follow

As for the headliner - good comments/tips so far. Get the headliner out of the box, lay it out somewhere warm for a while to reduce the folds. It helps if its a little warm but I don't think anyone is using heat anymore. Reproductions are too thin and heat (like a heat gun or hair drier) doesn't work on these like it did on cloth headliners. Different tricks for different materials

I found that the bow pouches are usually too long and won't allow you to pull the sides down far enough to get it tight. Don't be afraid to slit those up a little further, slightly as needed.
