Did a 68 GT Fastback (SJ) with deluxe interior come from the factory with comfort weave seat inserts?

I dont think all did. Your interior code (warranty tag) will dictate the interior seat type.

Deluxe Shelby interiors came in both comfortweave and non comfortweave.

I have a couple of 68 deluxe interior cars that did not have comfort weave. I believe that comfort weave was a separate option for coupes and fastbacks N/A for convertibles.

Just to further the discussion how is comfort weave described/noted on the Marti report?

Is it "Knitted" in the DOOR DATA PLATE INFORMATION?

Have Marti reports with

"Knitted"  as well as "Knitted Decor" listings

Think this would confirm that it was a option separate from the Decor interior one

The Knitted Décor was an extremely rare option on a Mustang. You can see how quickly it gets to 1 of 7.

Guys, I just ran across this thread. sorry to hash an old topic but Kerry has me curious on the stats.
My Raven Black 68 CJ has the same 5A code (black knitted decor bucket seats) as the report posted, so how rare is this?
My marti report says 168 w/ these paint/trim codes.
Just trying to get a little clarification,

in Kevins book "By the numbers", for Raven Black cars it says 7 Coupes, 168 Fastbacks.

All colors have some cars with the 5A interior with Tahoe Turqoise being the "rarest" with only one of each, followed by Pebble Beige with 2 coupes and one Fastback...
