Topic: 68 original seat belt ??

hi,

...in a 68 fastback , seat belt are all shoulder belt or you can have only 2 points belt ? in a standar interior what i suppose to have ? how i know wich one was in my car ? how i install the front seat belt with a center console ?

By the time your car was built all cars had the lap and shoulder belts.

Because of this you will have two belts mounted to each side of driveline tunnel on each side. The lap belt normally installed so it can be held in the console cups while the other belt is shoved between the seat and side of the console or flopped rearward behind the seat when not used.
 
When delivered believe that the shoulder belt belt at the center was folded up and held together neatly, with a thin light brown rubber band

Top ones appear to be the shoulder belts but that was the easy one

The ones with clear vinyl sleeves are rear seat belts.

There should be 4 short ones with the sleeves, 2 buckles and 2 hooks.
