Topic: Front wheel well splash guards

Hello,

I have a 1969 F code convertible, San Jose, build date Apr. 1969.

I need to replace the drivers side front splash guard as it was missing when I bought the car.

The right side splash guard is in good shape. The replacements that NPD sent me have rubber seals stapled around it and my presumably original one does not have any rubber seals.

Which is correct?

Is there a source for a correct replacement? There is one or two on Ebay but they are right side and not the left.

On a 69 the splash shields were solid plastic. Not sure that anyone has ever reproduced them - at least I've never purchased them but if they are someone will correct that.

There are four different ones on each car - each different from the other. They will have a large Z cast into the main body to indicate that they are for a Mustang - Cougars have a W  if I recall correctly.


Believe good used from a donor car is your only choice. The scratch with ease so check them out closely
