Front torque box area seam sealer
« on: September 19, 2015, 05:20:27 PM »
Was there any seam sealer added to these locations at the front torque box? If so was it brushed or sprayed?  I think that area got undercoated as well.

Yes before the body color was applied and covered it.

If so was it brushed or sprayed?

Typically sprayed

If a Mustang/Cougar then only the wheel well  section after the car was assembled.

Wheel well - much easier to use the Shelby examples since they didn't get the sound deadener application up front so the details stand out clearer

Notice that some times the vertical seam (Torque  up along the inner apron to firewall) was done, sometimes the aim was off and other times the worker forgot :(

Thanks again Jeff!! Just what I needed!

I owe you mass amounts of beer! When I get this car done I'm driving to wherever you live to pay up!
