space saver spare...
« on: September 16, 2015, 11:24:04 PM »
Can someone tell me what this is for? It was in the trunk of my recently acquired J Code convertible... This car came with 14" tires from the factory. This spare is in really good shape, just not sure what it originally belonged to. Thanks

I do not have the AMA Specs for the 71. Sorry.  My understanding for 72 is that the Space Savers were all BFGoodrich brand.  I have attached the 72 specs only as a reference not as the final word for 71.  Not sure if anyone else has the 1971 AMA Specs.  These are a great reference for detailed information all the way down to part numbers.

Might be a later or even a Mopar piece but your correct - not original to your year of car
