67 C6 automatic shifter handle
« on: August 17, 2015, 10:46:04 PM »
Does anyone have a pic of the 67 auto transmission (C6) T handle used on a car with a console. I have been told they are different for 67-68 something about the push button used to unlock the handle.

Shifter lever assemblies are the same with C4 or C6 transmissions. Console and non-console versions are different, but are the same C4 to C6.
Standard 1967 T handle buttons have a distinct sharper edge than the 1968 and newer buttons and companion dummy buttons. The reproduction buttons, are the 1968 and newer button version.
1967 Deluxe handles with the faux leather in color, has slightly concave oval buttons. Reproduction, and all 1968 and newer Deluxe handles, have convex chrome buttons.

Sorry for not having a comparison photo available.
