'65 Cobra Valve covers, fins
« on: October 30, 2015, 10:43:19 AM »
I'm working with some original '65 Cobra valve covers that the fins have been buffed to a mirror finish.  What grit sandpaper should I use to dull them down to a more appropriate appearance?

i'd  start off with some 1000 grit & work down to the finish you like. kinda like cutting lumber...........you can always make it shorter.....

Was thinking 1000 would be too rough, figured 1500 or higher for starters...
