did all 69/70 shelbys  ( gt350 and gt500's ) come with 140 speedo and tach dash as standard equipment?.  was told today from an  ebay vendor that the gt350 came with a 120 speedo and tach dash was optional. - and the 500's came with the 140 speedo-  he was trying to flog a 120 speedo cluster as for a shelby- i didn't think so but i'll leave it to the three wise men ( bob,jeff, ed) for a comment.  david  70 gt500

Here is my Speedo and tach from my GT350 when I was touching up the needles. Not sure if there were any options, but I do not think so. Corrections?

thanks david    justlike to question some of these vendors that include shelby into the mix.  i see yours is a 140 and tach dash-  i'll see possibly five more gt350's at my shelby/mustang show on the weekend. that's why i bought a gt500- just to be different  hee-hee-  we have two orig yellow, pastel grey ,maroon sportsroof and a maroon  350 convert  all very nice!  never mind a whack of 65-68 snakes.

I know that the 140MPH speedometer was available because the guys with 69 and 70 Mach I's had them. But I don't remember if they were factory, dealer or service items.

It sounds like a uninformed vendor. 69/70 Shelby's had the 140 speedo and tach regardless if GT350 or 500.

 yeah!  one of the three wise men came thru !-  vendor told me i was partially right.  well  -he was wrong - all came with 140's and tach as i suspected.  how about availability on mach's -  never seen it listed as an option - maybe a dealer re & re thing .  thanks Bob.

.  Not a normal option on a Mach I or Boss . I got a 140 speedo in what was supported to be a 120 speedo box years ago.
