Topic: 69 Mustang Sportsroof Driveshaft Markings

Hey Guys,

I have a 69 Mustang Sportsroof with a 390-4V, with 4 speed, PS, non A/C and trying to determine the driveshaft markings.  I don't have the build sheet.

Mark you got lucky. Not allot of 390 ones floating around and since the (easy to find buildsheet) 428 used a different driveline we can "borrow: from those.

Did find a 69 S code with 4speed buildsheet someone shared fairly close (December) that someone in the past shared with me. Body style should not effect this detail - double checked against a Jan 69 sportroof 390 sheet .

Driveline identification markings - Front to rear

Light blue
Dark Blue
Pink
