My restoration project is a 1969 scj with automatic trans built in April at the Metuchen assembly plant. While disassembly I noticed the front springs had traces of what appears to be the colors pink and a cream white color. Would these be the proper colors or for this car or have the trace amount of color faded over time.
Also I noticed a brown or tan trace on the drive shaft along with what appears to be a dark blue along with just a faint trace of white. Are these the right colors or am I just imagining these colors.

What body style? Guessing - PS but no AC?

All of these details effect the spring selection normally

Sorry about that Jeff. The car is a sports roof drum brake car no power steering or power brakes.

Can only guess/estimate since I don't have any exact matching buildsheets. Non- Mach I CJ or Shelby sheets are not very common

In any case would guess that your car came with the front springs marked Gold and Pink. Sounds like your, in addition, can with the white "over/under" spray painted stripes also from your description
