289 fan spacer hardware

hi,

i am looking for the bolts kit to bolt my fan & my fan spacer to my engine..i have a original 3 inch spacer so i need the bolt kit please !
i have a 289 68

no but i can't find them for the lenght i need ! only see for spacer like 2.25 '' ! do you know where i can find them ?

Try AMK B-12452 for Ford p/n 379192-S8. It's 5/16-24X3 3/4 with an attached split lock washer. It was used in 1965 for the spacer length you indicated. Taking into account the thickness of the spacer, fan and pulley, it will be long enough. Unfortunately there is no 1968 Engine Assembly Manual to use for determining the factory installed hardware, but using the 67 Manual, the bolt used for the C5OE-8546-A spacer is 45555-S2, 5/16-24X3 5/8 with a split ring lock washer. I don't think the extra 1/8 inch in length of 379192-S8 will matter, but check it for any interference. It can always be cut if too long.
