Is there any pattern for what would be original Fog Lamp Color on 67 Mustangs?

Is it DSO related? Is it Assembly Plant related? Is it production date related? Is it dealership ordering choice?
Can it be a combination or reasons?

I have seen what seems like a majority that are clear yet many others are amber and I cannot recall seeing or hearing about the rhyme or reasoning.

I believe the clear ones were the stock fog light bulbs from the factory, and then around the late-1970's/early-1980's many 1965-68 GT owners began replacing them with the amber ones (at least that's when I first recall seeing the amber bulbs in my area)...

Clear - amber is aftermarket - service part - non factory. Something allot of us did in the 70-80's to be different

Good to know, I have my clear OE FORD lamps and last checked, both were working, just I had been seeing these amber ones for so long, I was wondering if it were a state law or some odd thing, kinda where the DSO idea fits in.
