Yep, believe I was the mca 64.5-66 assistant head judge at that time.  Doesn't seem like that long ago!

I saved a couple of pictures from a Mustang Monthly article on-line before the website changed, the article is still available to view, the pics are as high quality as before so I've attached them.

Looks like it's silver in most areas... hard to tell on the sump, possibly covered in dirt/grime...

The MM photo shows an aftermarket radiator cap, which is no longer present in the recent museum photos. Looks like no battery in the museum shots as well. Were other items replaced/removed?

I would say so, spark plug wires look like repro.

A few additional close up pictures, but all I had was a cell phone.  Not bad though.  Note that there was a mirror under the hood, some of these are reflected shots.

Nice pics, lots of details shown. Did you go inside of of the roped off area? I was tempted to jump the rope but couldn't muster up the courage!
