Topic: How to remove the 67 center Console

I want to install a new carpet and therefore the center console has to be removed. Any instructions how to do that?

Fairly sure there have been recent discussions on that. (about 6 months back) Write back if you do not find it in "search"

Some pull the console with the radio in, I like to leave the radio in the car (pull the two nuts on the radio shaft) pull the front two screws on the side under the dash, the two above the radio, the 4 going into the floor and it differs for auto or maual around the shifter but once the top plate is off, self-expanatory.
