Topic: Drip Rail Foam

Looked over my metal drip rails and there appears to be some type of foam maybe 1 inch wide and 1 mm thick adhered to them. This appears to be some form of a buffer between the drip rail and the roof. Can this foam piece be bought somewhere?

There are a number of companies that can supply this - have seen 3M and other lesser known companies. Can be kind of expensive, considering that you have to purchase 50+ feet in a roll

Some have chosen to use the narrower product and lay two strips side by side

I found the exact product, and it's about eight dollars for enough to do a 67-8 fastback (12'). It's correct color, thickness and adhesive foam. Is is about a 1/16"of an inch wider than the original material removed. About 1/8 thick.

The label was in a clear bag. It has three running horses printed below the information.
Fits: 1983-93 Mustang Convertible. Top W/S retainer channel to frame seal.
&81-88 Mustang T-top w/s retainer channel to body seal.
