I plan on keeping my 2010 Shelby for as long as possible and I have kept every part I have taken off it when modding. Including the dead battery ( ever try finding an original group 22 battery for a 66?). I may never reinstall them, but i know if I don't keep them one day I will wish I had.

Nothing wrong with hording mustang parts... ::) :o

Back in 1973, I bought a 1969 Z/28RS. The car was only 4 years old and they were not rare. I tossed the original "junk" shifter and installed a new Hurst unit that worked much better. The factory exhaust manifolds also found their way out of my life. I still have the Z and I will be/am doing a "day 2" resto with the only mods being headers, rims (still have stock ones), bolt on frame connectors and the Hurst shifter. But, I really wish I still had those parts to go back on it should I decide to remove the bolt-ons and go original. Keep the parts.
