Interior paint
« on: November 07, 2014, 11:38:46 AM »
My car is a 1969 May, Metuchen built scj. My question is there an aerosol (rattle can) match for the charcoal black that was used on many of the interior pieces of my car?  I've found the ditzler number 32586 and I could have a can made up but if there is something on the market now that is real close I would prefer to use that.  Thanks, Qman

Remember to apply a base coat of semi- or flat black before you apply it as mentioned in many threads here. Also remember that some/most of the parts were semi-gloss/egg shell while a few (maybe a half dozen depending if your car has a fold down or not) were flat

Should put this subject in the FAQ's for 67 on up cars
