Does anyone recommend a concours alternator restoration service?

I know this looks bad, a friend found it at a salvage yard, but it is the correct date coded part.

I have bought a NOS Blade and Pulley.

Thanks for any advice!

Thank you!

I called CAE in Van Nuys and they said they can do it for $150.00 to restore this date coded one.  I will post before and after pictures.

Thanks!

Magazine recommendations vs. forum member recommendations ?  If it is print it must be true. I hope in your case it is good choice and experiance.
