65 66 roof rail weatherstrip
« on: June 16, 2014, 10:43:41 PM »
I have a Ford NOS roof rail weatherstrip for 65-66 FB Mustang that came out of the pkg sans the metal attaching point that is generally molded into one rubber end. All the Ford numbers and oval are present. The metal attaching point was never molded in so it is just not broken off. Has anyone seen this. I have had several, both assy line and Ford replacements and have never seen this before. Can someone shed some light?

Early 65 did not have the metal tab at the base of the A-pillar area.  You can always add them if your car had the tabs.

Thanks Chas. I'll just leave it alone and the guy who buys it can go either way.
