65 deluxe horn ring
« on: May 18, 2014, 01:12:46 PM »
I pulled apart the deluxe horn ring off my steering wheel, and I'm not sure if it's an original. It was sold to me as NOS, but I see no FoMoCo markings, just some engineering numbers.

Anyone know if these are marked FoMoCo on originals, wheel and horn ring?

FWIW the center cap on my car does have FOMOCO in block letters.   Brian

Thanks Brian. So the part with FoMoCo markings would correspond to my picture 1? What about the part that hade the three arms that sticks up through the steering wheel?

A couple of pictures of my center cap.  I haven't had the steering wheel off in while but I do remember long strings of part numbers. I did not write them down and don't remember seeing FORD logo's.  So no help there.  Can say the reproduction stuff is a very close match and difficult to see any difference's.  The cap comes right off so some of the other guys might be able to compare these examples.  The caps come with a Letter/Number date code.  Sorry my pictures are not as nice/clear as your examples.  Brian
