I'll probably order one fro WWC. But before I do I will check the float for pin holes. When I fill the tank the gauge only goes to a hair under 3/4s full. That may mean gasoline is partially filling the float and preventing the gauge from hitting the full mark. I know the gauge is working properly as I did the test lite check of the sending unit connector and it goes right to the full mark. I really don't understand what can go wrong with these units as they look very simple in design and function. But thanks guys for the lead on who sells checked out units. I'll report my findings soon.
