That is my point exactly it is not comfort weave just embossed vinyl.
They should not call it comfort weave. They could say it looks like comfort weave.

Out of interest I got to look at the car. Its numbers are: 8F02C136029, 63C I 8U 03A 55 2 W. The interior looks pretty well original (don't know about the black trim pieces though) and would have been a different look with a lime gold exterior. Unfortunately its a true Dearborn car and suffers from rot. There wouldn't be much steel worth saving which is a shame as it looks like a nice straight car.
