How were they masked at the factory?  Hood closed with overspray only on the face of the cowl lip under the hood, or masked and sprayed separately there?

Any OEM pics of the stripes on the below hood/cowl face area anyone can post?

There isn't a reference/instructions in the assembly manual like they do in the 69 for the hood black out?  Just asking don't have a copy of that years body manual

If not would look to the 69 hood treatments for maybe some clues Would guess that like other applications any wiper post would have the black on it - though the spines of the post may have been taped or masked. Believe they were shot as a unit (hood on the car)

Will see if I have any pictures of original hood stripes though I can't think of a particular car I shot

Saw no reference to the stripes in the FAM's.

Only the one pager showing width and color that is floating around on the web.

The dimensions you have appear to be correct. It should be sprayed on the car without mask under the hood to cowl producing a black fog overspray on the cowl. Here a couple of pictures.
