Lower shift boot used on a 1964 1/2?
« on: January 13, 2014, 10:07:11 PM »
Was wondering if the lower shift boot ( the rubber boot that surrounds the manual shift assembly),  was used on 1964 1/2 cars? If not, when did it come about? Not sure if i need to replace it on my 64 1/2, June build, Dearborn car. (It didn't have one when i disassembled it.)

1966 was the introduction of the lower boot. If you need a specific date I should be able to look up the TSB article  Might show up in a search of this site as it has been discussed since we opened the doors ;)
