Vinyl Top moldings

The moldings that are above the 1/4 panel that cover the bottom edge of the vinyl top.  Are they chrome?  Seems like the rest of the moldings were stainless so I wondered if that shouldn't be stainless as well.  Also mine look like the raised section may of had a brushed look but it might be the way it aged.

Believe they are plated pot metal. Can't remember ever seeing NOS one and after all these years the originals do have a muted finish when compared to the shinny chrome seen on the earlier years.

Agree with Jeff... chromed pot-metal.  The raised portion is usually a brushed finish.
