68 Jack Repair
« on: August 24, 2013, 08:25:15 PM »
Have '68 jack I want to clean up for the GT/CS that was seriously overloaded at some point in its life.  Upper pivot pin is bent, want to cut it out, repair the side pieces where they are distorted, machine a new pin and replace.  Wondering if anyone has a picture of an original and if the pin was flat stamped on the free end or the "X" style splayed end...

Looks like one of the ones where the car rolled after the jack was placed under the car. Pretty typical or scissor and bumper jacks
