When were Rally Pacs first installed?
« on: May 24, 2013, 03:08:54 PM »
Hi all. I have a June built 64 1/2 Mustang and want to add a Rally Pac set-up. Does anyone know when they were first available? Even though the car doesn't have it now, it would be neat to know if it was even available then as a dealer install or over the counter add on. Thanks in advance.

"Clock & Tachometer" was on the specification sheet issued February 3, 1964.  That shows it was at least Ford's intention to offer it as a regular production option from the beginning of production in March '64.

Don't think anyone would fuss over one installed in a June '64 car.
