Topic: 1970- Lower Driverside plate assembly/bellhousing bolt- missing?

I came across an article from 1990 in the "Fabulous Mustangs Mag"   that mentioned that the lower driver side bolt on the  rear engine dust cover/plate assembly to bellhousing did not have a bolt in that hole. see pic.  Is that still the thought today?

Typical production was left side hole in housing was not threaded so it does not get a bolt.

Thanks  for that clarification Bob. Guess I will leave that bolt out and smooth the thread marks from a previous owner sticking a loose bolt in there.
