Have a early 64-65 Hipo Mustang 9 inch Equal Loc 28 spline posi for sale.Has been rebuilt with new clutches and spring washer and is ready to be used in your rear end case.The price is $225 plus the ride

Equal loc  units were not availible in 64-65 K code mustangs.

Sure was as it was taken out of late 64.5 original Hipo car that has never been messed with!

Sounds like a terminology mix-up.  Ford usually used called this out as "Limited Slip Differential" on the window stickers and other reference materials.

Absolutely true as they made several different types of Limited Slips and most don't know the difference but for some reason you always find someone who will throw their two cents in who wasn't ask for it (opinion) that don't really know!...As long as I've been around Mustangs 45 years there are lots of people who hasn't had many that knows it all and I still don't know but look to listen and learn even after having 36 not counting the other 30 Fords!
