Looking for confirmation...The dipstick tube should be blue ? the stick handle should be ?...I've seen chrome, natural and blue in my searches. Thanks in advance

Tube would have been semi-gloss black. The dipstick would have been bare steel IMHO originally

Are you asking about oil dipstick or Automatic transmission dipstick?

Yes it does (the reason Bob bumped me ;)  - knew I was going down the automatic trans route)

Engine oil dip stick tube for your application was painted when the engine was painted - blue

Dip stick handle on your year - your engine would be chrome plated

Both are also spelled out that way in the MCA rules

Hope this helps
