68 C stripe placement

68.5 San Jose car June build

Are there any instructions on how to install the c stripe with dimensions ?
I see in a previous post the the front of the stripe is about 1/2 " to 3/4" from front of the fender. Thanks Scott.
Does it goes right on the body line or a certain distance above it ?

Checked - unfortunately I don't have any good close ups of original San Jose installed C stripes. Can only offer this Dearborn example currently :(
