64 1/2 Photo opportunity ??
« on: August 22, 2012, 11:47:58 PM »
Not sure if this might interest Jeff if he's in the area or if anyone needs some detail photos but I came across a Really original one owner 64 1/2 car that a friend of mine bought new and still owns it..  It's had minor rust fixed in the rear wheel lips and lower front fenders so the fenders have been blended, but other than that it's a 64 1/2 wimbleton white coupe with a black standard interior, 260 w/3 sp stick that is completely original with approx 60K miles that's been garage kept most of it's life. Still has it's original spare, jack, trunk mat, ect...  Almost positive it's a Metuchen car purchased in April 1964 but I can confirm this if it makes a difference.

The car's in the Phila, PA area, I can take photos of any particular area anyone might need, or if Jeff's in the area I can arrange a time where he can photograph the hell out of it for his awesome collection of photo's     PM me if there's any interest...

Perhaps a Dearborn car? Metuchen didn't begin production until February 1965.

Yes, would have to be a Dearborn car with that purchase date.  Photos would be great!
