Wow - understanding what each means might be a stretch
Difficult to find automatic markings since many were overhauled and rattle canned with silver paint
What I have to offer.
- The spray teal/green is likely related to the outer case as well a the large 4 at the bell housing. Have original examples of bare NOS cases with these marks on them before they were assembled. Possibly related to identifying a C6 case (the spray paint) and an inspector or worker that machined the bare case.
- the 4339 on the drivers side is consistent with other examples I have - same location though in black only - different numbers
Have seen dates. One restored trans with the OK (could not make that our in the pictures)- though I see those allot more on manual trans cars.
Like allot of subassembles we find allot of markings likely related to each assembly person, inspectors, individual parts and checks. Guessing you also found a few on the torque converter.
