how do i know if i need a space saver

i have a 1970 mustang mach 1 with a fold down seat .i am not sure if i need a space saver tire or not . i think when i started to redo the trunk sheet metal i do not recall the bracket for the air canister . can i see anythink on the build sheet

Typically the 15 inch wheel cars like the Boss and Shelby had to have a space saver because a full size 15inch wide tread tire like the polyglas wouldn't fit well.  A 14 inch Mach I would not need one . I am nort sure if it was a frequent option or not but would guess no.

On a Mach it would have been an option, $7, and shown on both the Marti report and the B copy of the invoice.  It wasn't a real popular option, only 899 sportsroofs came with one (other than the Bosses for which it was standard.)
