69 Heater Delete Wiring Question
« on: June 19, 2012, 08:06:54 PM »
How was the Under Dash Wiring Set Up on a 69 Heater Delete Car? Was all of the wiring present just not used? except for separable leads? Were the fuse clips present in the fuse panel box? Or was all of the heater related wiring not included in a specially built delete harness? Any knowledge is appreciated. Thanks, Andrew

I can only speculate, but I suspect the wiring was left intact and just laying in the underdash area disconnected.  No harm, no foul, reduced costs for Ford for not having a separate heater-delete harness for a very small number of cars.

Every heater delete car I've seen used the same (makes sense to me) standard wire loom as the heater cars. The plugs and connections where still in the loom (don't believe there was a "heater delete" loom) just nothing hooked to them
