« on: June 21, 2016, 01:44:20 PM »
Can any one tell me what color the window crank knobs should be with a white interior. 1969 Mach 1 Indian Fire Red with white interior. Im sure either black or white but not sure.

Normally they would be white

Two unrestored examples

Brian, I think that it is a Shelby Snake, door panel emblem from a Shelby Mustang?

The upper photo is of a Mustang, the lower of a Shelby. Notice the seat belt on the lower photo going up the to retractor that is on the roll bar in the Shelby. My window crank knobs were white as well. If I am correct, the non stereo version had longer handles, they had to shorten them for the speakers so they would not hit.
Accurate looking but not a Concours Restoration/build. See my build photo gallery at 69GT350 Hertz Build

You are correct.   69 - 70 Shelby with Deluxe interior.  Thanks, Brian

I used to think that too, but now I'm leaning towards the crank handle being the same with chrome plated plastic spacer discs being used behind them to move them out away from the grills.
I once sold a couple of the spacers NOS here in the classifieds.
A look thru a ford parts catalog from back in the day to check part numbers vs applications would settle things.
