Pony Carb contact
« on: June 01, 2012, 12:40:47 PM »
Although their web site is still available, I am unable to contact anyone at Pony Carbs.  Has anyone been able to establish contactsince the passing of John?  I am getting desperate for a float for a 4300 carb and  am pretty sure that Pony had them.  Anyone know if they will reopen or if the phones have been changed?  Thanks

Kurt Praxl of KP Carbs (http://mysite.verizon.net/vze2gsgu/index.html) can probably provide you with the floats.  He used to work for Jon when PonyCarbs was in NY.

I had heard that Jon had passed, but I wasn't sure if Pony Carbs would stay open or not.  Are they definitely closed now?

Good grief John, these things are expensive!  And it appears there is more than one style, so not sure if this is correct for your application;

Thaks, everyone!  Kurt Praxl had a float and it is on the way.  I appreciate all of the help each of you provided.  I tried to" fix" a problem of mine rubbing the side of the bowl on occasion and broke the old float (which had caused me problems for as long as I have had this carb). Some people get older and wiser but I just get older.  Again Thanks for your help!
