So when did production start for each model year 1964 to 1966?
Production for 65 Mustangs happened around August 17, 1964 for Dearborn and San Jose. Metuchin started in February 1965. 1966 production started August 16, 1965 at Dearborn and San Jose, August 25, 1965 in Metuchen. This is from the Mustang Production Guide, vol 1.

So on my signature car, the SCHED build date was MAR 15.  I Thinkk it was actually built on the 17th??  What do I need to now about wiring?
Early emergency wiring harnesses included the switch "hardwired" to the harness. After the 17th, the switch plugged into the harness. The two item assembly is easier to acquire as it is the service replacement. The one piece assembly is hard to find.
