Topic: Posting Guidelines for "Parts for Sale" Forum ** PLEASE READ FIRST**

1) All ads MUST include a price.  You will get a warning if no price is included.  If the ad is not updated with a price, it will be removed.

2) Please provide a thorough description of what you are selling.  Include the year model the parts are applicable to in the classified ad title.  Be as honest as possible and if possible, provide clear images (reasonable resolution).

3) You may post a link to an eBay auction if you are the seller.

4) If you don't like the price of an item, please refrain from any derogatory comments.  The seller will know if their price is too high if it doesn't sell in a reasonable amount of time.

5) There is currently no charge for classified ads here on ConcoursMustang.com, but if you feel the site has been helpful in moving some of your items, don't be shy about making a small donation here: http://www.concoursmustang.com/forum/index.php?action=treasury

6) When a sale is completed and posted as sold we will lock the thread, there by stopping the "do you still have ...." months or years later) follow-up postings. The now locked thread can work to show others what specific parts have sold for in the past and in turn we hope this helps others.

7) NO Ebay ads or just links by there own unless there is a buy now price in ad on this site

Just a FYI We have been leaving up ads where the items have been sold in hopes that displaying the selling price will help others get an idea of what a part may be worth and in turn may reduce the "How much is this worth"  threads or help members in other ways. A number of other sites have sections devoted to following ads (such as Ebay ads) so that values and sales can be documented and they appear to be well followed.

Just wanted to provide the membership with the insight and intent of the choice made.
