Hey guys,
Would this be the correct fuel line bracket for this date and plant?

Bolt appears to just be another one of the timing cover bolts used around the face of the timing cover to engine edge

Oh great thanks. Sorry but it had me confused because I felt that the little "leg" near the brackets mounting hole was there to align it some how but it seems to not have a function at all. Great photos. Much appreciated.

Remember the bottom portion of the bracket will be painted black as it was installed when the block was painted.  The securing top portion and screw are unpainted

Guess it might be best to describe it as the bracket was attached to the rest of the engine when it was painted so it was fully painted along with the mounting bolt. The fuel line and retaining clip were installed alter so they are not painted engine black ;)

Got it. Great. Thanks Chris and Jeff. It seems that in all of these pictures the fuel line is routed behind the distributer. Was this a hard and fast thing or were both routes used at this time and plant?

From the examples we have that is how the workers at the engine plant was routing them at that time. These were preformed so the workers were not bending them any way they wanted - they just installed what they were provided with

Thanks Jeff, I suppose what I was asking was which route is correct for this time and plant or are they both correct?

Sorry thought you were asking for confirmation of your statement in reply #9 and if they could have come either way

It seems that in all of these pictures the fuel line is routed behind the distributer.

Yes the ones posted (in many you can see the turn towards the carb before the dist) confirm that that was the routing used at this time period
