66 NJ - Front Suspension parts
« on: January 22, 2012, 10:15:01 AM »
Hi Guys,
The PO of my MAR 66 Metuchen Conv't. decided to do the Shelby Drop, and install CSRP Power Disc Brakes, and TRASHED ALL THE OEM STUFF HE REMOVED  Arrrghhh!

I'm contemplating un-doing his actions.  I have found a guy who wants all of my CSRP stuff in exchange for all his OEM stuff from his 66,000 mile, NOV 65 Metuchen car.  Both cars are C-Code V-8's.

I'm posting 4 pictures that are representative of his removed stuff.  The drums have a 5K12 casting date and if his 66K mile claim is true, they should be very serviceable.

What do y'all think.  I think an EVEN swap would be a good deal for me and him?

BC

Think I would ask for his stuff plus some $$'s

Even though you what his stuff I think your present stuff is worth more to the general public. Would as least ask but of course not let a couple of dollars get in the way of the opportunity ;)

Thanks Jeff,

My logic is...The time I would have to spend rounding up all the parts I need to make a complete system is worth something too.

If this turns out to be a one-stop, get everything here proposition, I'm WAYYYY ahead.

From the judging standpoint, would and points be deducted for NOV 65 parts being on a MAR 66 car, in the Concours Driven Class?
