1966 SJ Rear Shock Plate Finish
« on: November 23, 2011, 05:56:27 PM »
Should these plates that the rear shocks attach to be finished in P&O or Natural?

Thanks,

Jeff

Natural stamped steel.  Tumbling gives them a nice look, assuming they aren't badly pitted.

+1. i have had some turn out terrific using this technique plus you don't have to have a large tumbler to accomplish it. A steel shot like media is what came with my smaller tumbler. It is loud however :o . Bob

Sound good guys thanks. BTW is there any rubber/bushing between this and the leaf spring and leaf spring and the axle?
