Identification of C5TE-10039-A Bracket?
« on: January 31, 2015, 06:11:59 PM »
Hi guys, I bought some Mustang parts the other day, and so far, everything has been for a '65-66 (the gentleman didn't like the later models, he was a die hard '65-66 guy).  One thing that has me stumped is a bracket with the p/n C5TE-10039-A.  I'm assuming it's for a '65-66 like everything else, but so far, I've come up empty handed.  Anyone?

10039 looks to be a bracket, alternator?  The "T"  in the C5TE suggests it fits a 65 Ford truck.

Just using the Ford numbering system, I have no book on exact fitment...a picture could help me there.

Truck - yes, base number 10039 comes up as a fixed side mounting bracket for a generator on 170 I-6 engines.

So it's definitely not a Mustang part?

It's similar to a lot of generator and alternator brackets that Ford used on six cylinder engines. I don't think it's Mustang.
