Saw a Sauterne Gold '66 six cylinder convertible with a Black vinyl top at Jackonville this year that Nate restored. His resto was excellent. Pretty much dead on. I could only find 2 issue with it that I had a problem with- painted valve cover bolts, and what I though to be a non-original fuel pump - At any rate the car was beautiful as it sat next to #140 which he also restored.
To get to the point, I had noticed in the restoration of the Sauterne Gold '66, that Nate decided to use the Black lettered "B" decal on the Driver's side of the inside of the trunk. I had never seen it planted there before on any '65 or '66 that I remembered.. Have you ever seen one there? I can supply a pic.. I took tons of them at Jacksonville..
