Thin strip sealer for window weather-strip stainless channels
« on: August 23, 2011, 10:26:22 AM »
Is the thin strip foam still available at places like home depot or lowe's?  Seems like I remember someone mentioning they found it in the heating/cooling section a while back.  Need some for the stainless channels on a 65 fastback.  Although, many years use this same sealer.

If we're talking about the same thing, I picked mine up from Lowe's. I believe it was 1/8" thick X 1", tacky on one side. How much do you need? You're welcome to what I have left, don't believe I'll be needing any more.
